Suffolk County Cleaning FAQ

Clear answers for Suffolk homes, estates, condos, and East End rentals. Prefer to talk? Call 631-596-0682.

What affects the cost of a cleaning in Suffolk?
Pricing reflects home size (beds/baths/sq ft), condition (routine vs. first-time/deep), service type, add-ons (e.g., oven, fridge, inside cabinets/windows), and frequency (recurring discounts). Travel/parking can vary by East End or village rules. See your exact total in real time at checkout—no surprises.
What’s included in a deep clean? Are there exclusions?
Deep cleaning targets built-up dust and detail work (baseboards, fronts of cabinetry, bathroom scale, high-touch points, vents as reachable, exterior of appliances). By default it does not include interior ovens/fridges, inside cabinets, or interior windows—but you can add any of those at checkout.
Do you bring supplies and HEPA vacuums?
Yes—our teams bring pro-grade supplies, microfiber systems, and HEPA filtration vacuums. Prefer green or fragrance-free? Request it at booking. We can also use a product you supply (note any stone/wood sensitivity).
Are you insured and are pros background-checked?
We partner with vetted, background-checked independent professionals. Coverage is in place and COIs are available on request (often within 1 business day). We do not store client keys—please use a lockbox/smart lock or meet-and-greet.
Do you handle short-term rental turnovers in the Hamptons/North Fork?
Yes. We support STR turnovers with linen flips, restock checks (if provided), and photo-verified checklists. Laundry is available when there are on-site machines and time allows; otherwise we stage fresh linens you supply. Add special host notes at checkout.
Can I request the same team each visit?
We do our best to keep recurring clients with the same Suffolk-trained pros. Holidays, illness, or routing may require a backup team. Documented preferences live on your account so handoffs stay consistent.
How does the 24-hour satisfaction policy work?
If anything was missed, tell us within 24 hours. We’ll document, prioritize the areas, and arrange a prompt re-clean. Photos help us resolve it fast.
What are your post-construction dust protocols?
HEPA filtration, microfiber capture, and multi-pass methods (top-down). Fine dust may require two visits as HVAC resettles. Interior windows/tracks, inside cabinets, and appliance interiors are popular add-ons for this service.
How far ahead should I book in summer on the East End?
Peak summer (Fri–Sun, July–Aug) fills quickly. Aim for 3–4 weeks notice for weekend turns; shoulder season is often 1–2 weeks. Same-week openings do pop up—check live availability at checkout.
Do you use eco-friendly products? Can I request special care?
Yes—green, low-odor, and pet-safe options are available on request. Add special surface notes (marble, hardwood oil finishes, unlacquered brass) and we’ll adjust pH/tools accordingly.
What’s the arrival window and how will I be updated?
You’ll receive a 2-hour arrival window with “on the way” texts. East End traffic and bridge/tunnel conditions can affect routing—we’ll keep you posted in real time.
How do you handle access and parking rules?
Use a lockbox/smart lock or meet-and-greet. Add gate/concierge notes at booking. For paid/permit parking, please note details; reimbursement may apply where required by building policy.
What is your reschedule/cancellation policy?
Plans change—give us at least 24 hours notice to avoid a late-change fee. Same-day cancellations or lockouts may incur the full or minimum fee to cover reserved time.
Are you pet-friendly?
Absolutely. Tell us your pet’s name and temperament; we’ll use pet-safe products and keep doors secured. Crating is recommended if your pet is anxious around vacuums.
How long does a typical cleaning take?
It depends on size/condition. A 2–3 bedroom home often takes 2–4 hours with a 2-person team; first-time/deep and post-reno visits take longer. Your online quote shows the team size and estimated duration.
Do you handle laundry and linens for STRs?
Yes when on-site machines are available and the turnover window allows. Otherwise we stage clean linens you supply. Please stock extras in an owner’s closet and leave written turnover notes.
