How do I schedule a home cleaning?

It’s simple! Just go to our online booking page and use our easy online form. Let us know where we’re going, what kind of Long Island cleaning services you would like, and the date and time you’d like the services done. Next, enter payment information and book your Long Island housekeeping services!

May I pick the days?

Absolutely! We do our best to accommodate your schedule. You can quickly and easily see which dates and times are available when you book using our online form.

Which areas do you service?

What is your 100% Guarantee?

We want to make sure you’re happy with your Long Island Maids services so if you’re left dissatisfied with the quality of work done by our cleaning professionals, just let us know within 24 hours and we will re-clean the areas you were unhappy with. We take pride in our work and we want every Long Island Maids service experience to be perfect.

Is Long Island Maids insured?

Absolutely. Long Island Maids carries liability insurance to protect your and your home. We will cover any damage to your home or property that is accidentally caused by a Long Island Maids professional. Long Island Maids is also a bonded company.

Is Long Island Maids a franchise?

Nope. Long Island Maids is a family-owned and operated company. We will clean your Long Island home like it’s our own!

Do I need to sign a contract?

Long Island Maids does not use any service contracts. You are free to cancel your Long Island house cleaning services at any time. In addition, My Clean Home also reserves the right to cancel services at any time.

Do you use eco-friendly products?

If you’d prefer your Long Island cleaning services to be eco-friendly, we are more than happy to accommodate! Simply let us know during booking so we can ensure our cleaning team arrives with all of the proper green clean supplies.

What hours do you offer services?

We offer services seven days a week during the hours of 9:00AM – 6:00PM.

How will you get into my home?

We know that you probably have better things to do than sit around and watch your Long Island housekeepers clean, which is why we’re more than happy to perform cleaning services while you’re out and about. Most of our clients give us a key to their home or a code to their garage, while others choose to use a lockbox. Just please remember to give us entry! If you forget to leave a key and we’re unable to perform your Long Island cleaning services, you will be charged a lockout fee of $50.00.

Will my key be safe?

All keys are marked with a code number rather than a customer name or address and are kept locked in a safe when not in use.

Do I need to be home?

You do not need to be home during your Long Island Maids services. Most of our clients seem to prefer simply coming home to a tidy house rather than being present for the cleaning process.

Do cleaners bring their own products and equipment?

All of our cleaners come fully prepared to give you the best Long Island cleaning services possible! We provide all of the necessary cleaning equipment and supplies except trash bags and toilet bowl brushes. If you would like your trashcans to be relined, we ask that you please provide the trash bags you would like us to use.

What should I do before my Long Island cleaning service?

In order to make sure your home gets the best cleaning service possible, we ask that you please pick up stray items off of the floor. Also, it is best that dressers and counters are organized before our cleaning staff arrives. This allows our cleaners to work more efficiently and thoroughly. In addition, please secure cash, jewelry, and other small valuables. We ask in the summer months that the house is kept at an appropriate temperature, and that sidewalks and driveways are cleared in the winter so that we can safely enter and clean your home.

How many people will clean my home?

Our cleaning professionals usually work in groups of two. This helps us provide Long Island cleaning services that are both efficient and thorough.

How long will my cleaning take?

As a rule of thumb, we estimate approximately one hour per bedroom, but there is no specified length of cleaning. We clean until we are finished and your home looks marvelous!

What if something is missed or not cleaned properly?

If you’re unsatisfied with any part of your Long Island cleaning services, please let us know within 24 hours. We will send a team of Long Island housekeepers out to correct anything that needs to be cleaned at no additional charge.

How do I pay?

We currently accept debit and credit cards.

How much will my Long Island cleaning service cost?

We operate on a flat-rate pricing system. We know every home is different but we want our customers to feel confident they won’t be over-charged or incur any last minute ‘fees’. You can also add extra services to your cleaning for an additional cost.

What if I want to cancel my Long Island house cleaning?

We understand schedules change and sometimes you may need to cancel or re-schedule your housekeeping appointment. All we ask is that you contact us no later than noon the day before your scheduled cleaning. Cancellations made later than noon on the day prior are subject to a $70 cancellation fee.

Should I tip my Long Island housekeeper?

Tipping is neither required nor expected, but always appreciated. If you choose to leave a tip, cash is the preferred method.

Additional services/requests

Every home is different and many customers have special requests or require additional services. Please review our extras on our booking page and leave any additional notes when you submit your online booking form.

What don’t you do?

For the safety of our cleaning professionals and your property, our cleaners may not climb higher than a step stool, work on the exterior of a home, or wet wipe light fixtures. Our Long Island housekeepers also do not provide any pet or children related services, prepare meals, or care for houseplants.
