Billing & Payments

We accept all major credit cards and online payments for your convenience.

For the security and convenience of our clients, Long Island Maids exclusively accepts credit card payments. We do not accept cash or checks. All major credit cards are accepted, and payments are securely processed through Stripe, a PCI-compliant system with 256-bit SSL encryption, trusted globally.

A hold of the full amount will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before the service. This allows for any denied cards to be updated before the service day. The actual charge will happen an hour before your service time.

No, we provide transparent pricing with no hidden fees. Any additional services requested will be discussed and agreed upon beforehand.

This $1 charge is simply an authorization check from your bank to verify your credit card. It’s a temporary charge and will be refunded within 7-10 business days. There’s no need to worry; it’s a standard procedure for credit card verification.

You can easily update your credit card details through your client dashboard on our website. It’s a straightforward process to ensure your payment information is always current.

Yes, you can reschedule or cancel your booking, but please inform us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees.

You don’t need to be home. Many clients provide a spare key or entry code. Please ensure you provide these details securely through your client dashboard or to our customer service team.

After your cleaning service, you’ll receive an email prompting you to rate and review your experience. Your feedback is crucial for us to maintain high-quality service.

To cancel your recurring service, please log in to your client dashboard or contact our customer support. Be aware of our cancellation policy for any applicable fees.

When booking, simply choose the option for a recurring service. You can select the frequency of the cleanings according to your needs.

Deals & Coupons

To redeem a discount code, enter it in the designated field during the online booking process. The discount will be applied to your total service cost. Ensure the code is valid and applicable to the service you’re booking.

No, there are no additional fees for using a discount or voucher. The discount will be applied to the total cost of your service. However, please note that the discount cannot be combined with other offers and is subject to the terms and conditions of the promotion.

Yes! When you refer a friend to Long Island Maids, you’ll receive a credit for your next service once your friend completes their first cleaning. Your friend will also get a discount on their first booking. Share your unique referral code or link, available in your client dashboard.

Discounts typically apply to new bookings. However, if you have an existing booking and a valid discount code, please contact our customer service team. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

My Account

If you’re having trouble logging in, it could be due to an incorrect email or password. Double-check your credentials. If the issue persists, try resetting your password or contact our customer support for assistance.

Our Services

Yes, Long Island Maids offers comprehensive end-of-lease cleaning services. Our team ensures your rental property is thoroughly cleaned, meeting the standards required for lease termination and helping you secure your deposit.

Our standard home cleaning includes dusting and washing all reachable surfaces, wiping the outside of kitchen appliances and cabinets, basic bathroom cleaning, and vacuuming and mopping all floors. We focus on creating a clean and inviting environment in every room.

Long Island Maids serves all of Long Island. For customers living on Fire Island, Shelter Island, or Block Island, where ferry access is required, please reach out to us first. Additional charges may apply due to the extra transportation required.

Policies & Terms of Services

At Long Island Maids, we require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any changes to your scheduled cleaning. Changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur an $80 fee. It’s important to cancel or reschedule your booking outside of the 24-hour window to avoid this charge. Please note that all rescheduling and cancellations must be done through the Long Island Maids dashboard; we cannot accept changes via email.

In cases where a cancellation or rescheduling occurs within 3 hours of the scheduled start time, a charge equivalent to 3 hours of cleaning will be applied. This fee compensates our cleaners, who may not be able to secure alternative work on such short notice.

If a cleaning session is not canceled and our cleaner arrives but cannot gain access to your property (e.g., no authorization provided to a front desk), the full cost of the cleaning will be charged. We emphasize the importance of managing your bookings through our dashboard to ensure clear communication and efficient service.

At Long Island Maids, we are committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction with our cleaning services. In the rare instance that you’re not entirely satisfied with our work, we encourage you to reach out to us promptly. Our policy is to send the same professional back to your home to address any specific areas that did not meet your expectations. This follow-up service is focused solely on rectifying the missed areas, rather than providing a full re-clean of your property.

To activate this guarantee, we ask that you report any dissatisfaction within 48 hours of the service completion, including sending photographs of the areas you feel were not adequately cleaned to our dedicated support email. We will then arrange for a re-clean within 7 days of the original service. This re-clean is specifically tailored to address the areas you highlighted, ensuring that your standards and expectations are fully met.

To find out the exact times we can provide services in your area, simply start the booking process on our website. Enter your address and proceed to the ‘Date and Time’ selection page, where all available slots for cleaning your home will be displayed.

Typically, our cleaning services can be scheduled anytime between 7 AM and 6 PM, seven days a week, ensuring flexibility to fit into your busy schedule.

We offer a re-clean of the areas missed, free of charge, at a time that suits you. We will send back the same cleaner to specifically address the areas that were missed. Please ensure to report this within 48 hours of the cleaning service to avail of this offer.
