What a Commack Cleaning Looks Like

The Home
A well-maintained Colonial near Burr Road with four bedrooms, a large eat-in kitchen that's command central, and a finished basement with the kids' playroom. Hardwood on the main level, tile in the kitchen and baths.
Their Routine
Ana arrives Wednesday mornings while both parents commute to the city. With two kids in Commack schools—homework, sports, and weekend activities—biweekly cleanings keep the household running smoothly.
The Details
Ana knows this home: the kitchen that needs extra attention, the basement playroom that's always cluttered, and how the family likes fresh linens on the beds. She even knows where the dog likes to nap (and shed).
We moved to Commack for the schools and the convenience. Ana has been cleaning our home for over two years—she's part of the family at this point. Wednesday evenings are wonderful because we come home to a fresh, clean house.

Local Knowledge
We Know Commack
From "Pleasant Lands" to Thriving Suburb
The Secatogue Native Americans called their northern lands "Winnecomac"—meaning "pleasant lands"—for the flat terrain, rich soil, and thick oak forests. In 1665, Richard "Bull" Smith purchased what would become the Smithtown portion of Commack as part of his colonial land grant. By 1783, enough settlers had arrived to form a Methodist congregation, and in 1789 they built a church on Town Line Road that still stands today—the oldest Methodist Church building in New York State.
For generations, Commack was farmland. The Burr family made it internationally famous for breeding and training champion trotters, building Suffolk County's first one-mile racing track where Commack High School now stands. During World War I, Brindley Field brought Army aviators training in Curtiss Jennys. After WWII, returning veterans transformed the open fields into the thriving family community you see today. The Long Island Arena once hosted the NY Nets and Peter Frampton's legendary live album. We've been cleaning Commack homes since 2013.
