What an East Northport Cleaning Looks Like

The Home
A classic East Northport split-level near Larkfield Road with four bedrooms, a finished basement the kids use for everything, and a sunny kitchen that's the heart of the home. Hardwood on the main level, carpet in the bedrooms.
Their Routine
Carmen arrives Thursday mornings while both parents are at work. With three kids in Northport-East Northport schools—soccer practice, band rehearsals, and homework scattered everywhere—biweekly cleanings keep the chaos manageable.
The Details
Carmen knows this home inside and out: the basement carpet that needs extra attention, where backpacks get dumped, and how the family likes their kitchen counters cleared. She even knows which kid's room needs the most help.
Three kids, two working parents, one dog—our house was always one step away from chaos. Carmen has been with us for almost three years now. Thursday evenings are our favorite because we come home to a clean house and can actually relax.

Local Knowledge
We Know East Northport
From Clay Pits to Family Community
On July 30, 1656, settlers purchased land from Chief Asharoken of the Matinecock tribe—land that would eventually become East Northport. Early residents called the area "the clay pits" for the red clay deposits east of Larkfield Road. By the 1770s, working farms dotted the landscape, and in 1774, local farmers drafted a Declaration of Rights criticizing England's unfair taxation—a full two years before the famous one.
The name "East Northport" came from the railroad. In 1868, the LIRR opened a station in Northport Village, but in 1873 moved it to Larkfield to extend service to Port Jefferson. Conductors called the new station "East of Northport" because it was east of the junction—even though Larkfield is actually south of Northport. The name stuck, and in 1910 the post office made it official. After World War II, returning veterans and their families transformed East Northport from farmland into the thriving family community it is today. We've been cleaning East Northport homes since 2013.
